With varying interests in business, gov't, and social issues, Ms. Fleurimond has chosen to follow all her dreams. She graduated with a Political Science degree from Columbia University and upon graduation, she worked for the New York City Council serving as a project manager and community Liaison. However, she also had a strong love of cooking. That love led to Fleurimond Catering, Inc. Her catering firm has catered numerous functions for clients such as Wyclef Jean, the Manhattan Borough President, NYT Best Selling Author, Jill Nelson, Ann-Hauser Busch, The American Council on Science & Health and various other individuals and institutions throughout the New York City and Tri-State area.
A strong community activist, Nadege gives much of her time to social causes especially those dealing with the Youth and founded Young Culinary Masters(YCM), a non profit aim to truly educate young people and bring about positive change in their eating and fitness lifestyles, by providing hands on cooking training and nutrition education.
Ms. Fleurimond's soon to be released book, A Taste of Life: Culinary Memoirs of an Extrovert, will be available for purchase in December 2009.
